This necklace features hand drawn and hand sawn swallows that are textured and layered from sterling silver. I wanted to capture the feeling of them flying, darting & soaring through the opal center stone. Paired in the center is an oval shaped Ethiopian Opal. This stone has a beautiful iridescent glow of blue, green, orange, yellow and red! It shines at all different angles and in different light. 

I crafted this necklace to fit as a choker style. It’s able to be adjusted from a 14-16” length and is attached to a sterling silver cable chain. Handcrafted entirely from sterling silver and oxidized to bring out details. An ode to summer and the swallows soaring above water! The center opal is approximately 3/4” x 1/2”.
