While hiking in Escalante I came across a sign at the trailhead about otters being successfully reintroduced in the Escalante River in Utah. It then mentioned that a group of otters is referred to as a romp and I thought that was super cute lol so I decided to make an otter necklace! While this piece features more of a singular romp, it features an otter with a trout in its paws and a one swimming about. Off set in the necklace is a vibrant Sonoran gold turquoise that gave an earthy, desert vibe.

Hand fabricated entirely from sterling silver this necklace is on an 18” sterling silver bar chain. The pendant portion is approximately 1” x 1”.
